hayes had an awesome first tournament! He managed the base paths, worked hard, was super gritty and threw at least 5 runners out on saturday! he was everything we could have asked for in a defensive leader!

we had to split the award this time! they both led the team with an 0.667 b.a. they both were grinding it out, taking pitchers deep into counts every at bat. they found a way to produce every appearance and were equally productive on the base paths!

put aside he made the whole team bracelets... he was the calm to the commotion all weekend. he led quietly, worked to bring focus in the dugout, motivated the guys, and set the tone for attitude and effort. he is the dude!
